This Sobi2 plugin allows you to geocode your entries following 2 ways:

• Backend: administrators can geocode automaticaly existing SOBI2 entries from the entered address in a batch process
• Frontend: at the moment the entry is save (or/and updated), the entry is automaticaly geocoded.

• Allows to choice the category you want to geocodes
• Allows to include all entries in sub categories
• Allows to geocode unpublish entries
• Allows to set a rectangular zone (defined by 4 points) and geocode only external entries from this range
• Allows to geocode only the entries with empty coordinates
• Allows to set a commom adress sufix (like: geneva+Switzerland)

• Install the plugin in the "SOBI2 Plugin Manager". That's all !

• Select the Lat and Long fields used by the SOBI2 entries
• Enter 2 latitudes values, to set the horizontal range to accept geocode
• Enter 2 longitudes values, to set the vertical range to accept geocode
• Specify your google map server (if your entries are in switzerland, select maps.google.ch, in france maps.google.fr)
• Select all adress fields used by the SOBI2 entries (street, city, ...)

Text from google : If more than 15,000 geocode requests in a 24 hour period are received from a single IP address, or geocode requests are submitted from a single IP address at too fast a rate, the Google Maps API geocoder will begin responding with a status code of 620. If excessive geocoder usage continues, access to the Google Maps API geocoder from this IP address may be blocked permanently.
